Meet Ms. Trujillo, an incredible example of perseverance and growth. After being unemployed for 10 years, Ms. Trujillo found it difficult to re-enter the workforce due to a lack of job skills. But with determination and the support of our SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program), she turned her situation around. 💼✨ Through SCSEP, Ms. Trujillo trained as a receptionist at one of our host agencies, learning valuable office and customer service skills over the course of four years. With her newly updated resume and confidence in her abilities, she applied for a receptionist position at Beyond Barriers, where she could also leverage her bilingual skills. We're excited to share that she was offered the position and is now thriving in her new role! 🎉 Her journey is a testament to how SCSEP provides the support and resources needed to help individuals reach their full potential and achieve their employment goals. We're proud of Ms. Trujillo's success and honored to have been part of her path to employment.
