James Flood, Program Director of ServiceNet's Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), and Megan Collins, Director of our Holyoke Outpatient Clinic, recently attended the Franklin County Justice Center Community Engagement Event! They joined local providers, educators, and employers to share information about the important services we offer and connect with the community. ServiceNet is thrilled to welcome four therapeutic goats to one of our mental health recovery homes, thanks to a generous donation from The Home Depot Foundation! 🐐 The Home Depot Foundation provided a brand-new shed and other items, valued at nearly $10,000, and even handled the installation. Animal care has been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and we’re excited to see the goat-tastic impact these new friends will have! Read more: https://lnkd.in/eyiNiQCH

We’re excited to share that ServiceNet’s Skillbuilders Makerspace+ program recently partnered with EasterSeals to build adaptive switches for their upcoming adaptive toy drive! Adaptive toys, modified with switches or other enhancements, make playtime accessible and enjoyable for children with disabilities. At Skillbuilders Makerspace+ in Chicopee, participants in our pre-vocational day program engaged in hands-on learning, mastering skills like soldering, testing switches, using tools, and following safety procedures, all while assembling these essential devices. “This adaptive toy drive gives our members a chance to develop practical skills while contributing to a meaningful cause,” said Tiffany Carter, Program Director for Skillbuilders. “We’re proud to be part of a project that empowers our participants and supports children with disabilities in a tangible way.” We’re proud of the 25 adaptive switches produced and look forward to continuing this important work! #AdaptiveToys #InclusivePlay #SkillbuildersMakerspace+ #ServiceNet

ServiceNet staff and their families recently gathered at Look Park in Northampton for the annual all-staff picnic. Over 250 people attended, including staff, their partners, kids, and even a few pets! The dunk tank was a crowd favorite, with our senior team stepping up to get soaked. We also enjoyed classic picnic foods like burgers and fries courtesy of Local Burger. Thanks to everyone who made the day a success! #ServiceNet #InnovativeMentalHealthandHumanServices #Picnic #ThankYouStaff
