  • On Thursday, March 28th, Servier North East Africa visited Enkongu Narok Primary School in Amboseli. 🏫   At Servier we are deeply committed to human development, and during this visit, we had enriching discussions with the pupils on topics such as education, our own personal experiences, and the right to access adequate and healthy food. To address these needs, Servier North East Africa brought over 4,3 tons of food, including rice, maize, cooking oil, and beans. This initiative allows the school to reduce food costs and allocate more funds to ensure more students can benefit from the right to education. 💡   Furthermore, we addressed crucial subjects such as education, emphasizing the importance of including girls, providing equal opportunities, as well as the challenges of global warming and environmental protection. 🌍   Having participated in a similar initiative last year, we've already seen positive outcomes as evidenced by the increase in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) score from 200 in 2022 to 280 in 2023 for the school, thanks to the efforts of the teachers.   This emotional moment represents a fundamental pillar of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at Servier, a value we deeply cherish. ❤️ #ServierNEA #Education #CSR

Diabetes poses a significant global health challenge with preventable consequences. Undetected and untreated diabetes can cause severe human suffering and disability. 🩸 In Northeast Africa, there is a high prevalence of diabetes, and a large portion of the population has never undergone blood sugar testing, resulting in delayed diagnosis, increased morbidity, mortality, and elevated healthcare costs. 🌍 At Servier North East Africa, we are dedicated to combating the burden of Type 2 Diabetes (T2D).
