SeventySix Capital is a Venture Capital co. that invests in innovative sports, media, and entertainment companies. Recently, SeventySix Capital sold four portfolio companies - VSiN, the sports betting media network (sold to DraftKings), Vigtory, a next generation sportsbook (sold to FuboTV), Team Whistle, a sports and entertainment media company (sold to ELEVEN SPORTS and in 2022 sold to DAZN), and C360, maker of pylon cams and immersive video company (sold to Cosm). Other public companies that have acquired SeventySix Capital’s portfolio companies include: Aramark, Intel, IBM, Walgreens and Yahoo. SeventySix Capital also has a Sports Advisory business, its Athlete Venture Group, the Sports Leadership Show, and a strategic partnership with Rubicon Talent. SeventySix Capital Sports Advisory is a sports consulting group comprised of an expert team focused on the future of the sports and entertainment industry. Sports Advisory specializes in advising teams, leagues, family offices and brands on where the sports industry is going and how to best prepare in the evolving landscape of sports, including esports, sports betting, media and social responsibility. SeventySix Capital’s Athlete Venture Group allows players to invest, learn, and work directly with top sports tech startups and entrepreneurs. The AVG aims to bridge the gap between athletes, entrepreneurs, and investors by creating opportunities for athletes to become tech investors and for entrepreneurs to access the financial and social capital that professional athletes have to offer. The SeventySix Capital Sports Leadership Show is a podcast show that features the sports industry’s top entrepreneurs, athletes, and thought leaders.
