About us

South Florida Community Development Coalition (SFCDC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit association dedicated to supporting capacity, capabilities, and connections for local community builders enhancing quality of life conditions for low-to-moderate income (LMI) neighborhoods. Our members (developers, financial institutions, community economic development organizations and advocates) work to provide LMI residents and small businesses with access to the tools necessary to build wealth and ensure all neighborhoods are livable, safe, and economically vibrant. SFCDC envisions a South Florida where: All low and moderate income people have access to the tools necessary to build wealth. All neighborhoods are livable, safe, and economically vibrant. Community development practitioners collaborate meaningfully to enhance outcomes. Local, state, and national investors employ a long-term strategy of significant investment in our community development efforts. The field of community development has effective leadership representing the public, non-profit, and for-profit sectors.
