About us

Share Local Media, or SLM, is a rapidly growing startup reimagining the world of offline marketing for tech and e-commerce companies. We started as e-commerce marketers ourselves, and launched SLM with a goal of turning direct mail into a high performing, scalable channel for a digitally native client set. To do so, we’ve taken an inputs based-approach to the space, and re-engineered the channel from the ground up to make it easier to test, faster to execute, more measurable, and ultimately, more effective for e-commerce and tech clients of all types. So what does SLM actually do? We’re a full-service direct mail agency, media program operator, and technology platform, serving some of your favorite e-commerce and tech brands (think Casper, Lyft, Grubhub, etc.). We live and breathe direct response marketing, and strive to delight clients with high performing campaigns built around fast, data-driven client service, and premium, unique branding.     Informed Delivery is a United States Postal Service customer-facing newsletter which creates a digital interaction with the campaign piece before its arrival: 👩💻 The service is provided at the household level, free to consumers, and currently has 62.4MM subscribers 📬 For registered consumers, this newsletter provides digital images of mail prior to its arrival at the mailbox 💌 For advertisers, Informed Delivery represents an incremental, high-quality impression on top of the mail piece 🚀 On average, the program has an email open rate of 70% and a 11% CTR 📈 SLM can provide analytics of the # emails, # opens, open rate etc., similar to a digital campaign This capability allows for a full-color, interactive image that appears in the Informed Delivery user's daily digest which increases visibility.     If you didn't know already, we offer full-scale monetization of clients' outgoing box & package shipments within the insert media space. Outgoing shipments can be revenue-generating by placing outside inserts (from our client base) into boxes, statements, etc. SLM works with clients in this program-management capacity, managing all the difficult operational elements (sales, warehouse logistics, etc.) so clients can monetize their packages with ease.
