We are incredibly excited, proud and humbled to share that we WON the Environmental Stewardship award at this year’s 2024 #ORGImpactAwards! #ShareOurSpare was chosen as one of the seven winners selected from over 1,700 applicants from more than 87 countries. Our mission, first and foremost, is about the babies and the families we serve. We believe in providing an equitable and strong start to life, but a huge and often unrecognized bi-product of that work is our impact in sustainable practices and the circular economy. With the collection and redistribution of millions of baby items every year, we are not only keeping items out of landfills, but we are reducing water waste and carbon emissions. According to a new advisory regarding parental mental health and well-being, @vivekmurthy , the U.S. Surgeon General, reports that over the last decade, parents have been consistently more likely to report experiencing high levels of stress compared to other adults. When stress is severe or prolonged, it can have a deleterious effect; 41% of parents say that most days they are so stressed they cannot function and; 48% say that most days their stress is completely overwhelming compared to other adults.
