Thank you for your time and contribution to the conversation, Jackie Maestri!
I am very proud of the ways Johnson & Johnson Global Services (GS) has grown and evolved in a few short years, and nothing is more rewarding than an invitation from a peer organization to share thought leadership and best practices. That’s why it was a privilege to recently join the Shared Services Leadership Coalition’s (SSLC) monthly forum for a fireside chat on the attributes that led to GS being recognized as a Top 20 Most Admired GBS for 2023 by the SSON (Shared Services Outsourcing Network). SSLC is a non-profit community of government and industry leaders dedicated to accelerating the pace of shared services implementation and government modernization. To open, I gave the audience of shared services professionals an overview of J&J both past and present. This set the stage for the chat on GS and the impactful attributes that help us stand out among peers. I always start with the most precious resource -- our talent. Specifically, how we prioritize retention and career growth with a boundaryless model that encourages talent to step out of their comfort zone to accelerate development, upskill and move internally. We also talked about the key role GS is playing in #intellgentautomation by improving experiences for stakeholders, including transforming repetitive tasks to free capacity for purpose-driven work and contributing to higher-value propositions for our businesses. Another important attribute, and one that I believe brings everything together for us, is GS’ commitment to a servant leadership model. This is driven by Our Credo and its first responsibility, which is to our doctors, nurses, patients, mothers and fathers who use our products. In GS, we remember WHY we do what we do and bring this passion to work every day. It was such a pleasure to share and engage with this great group! Special thanks to Oracle’s Brian Jones for moderating the session and to John Marshall from SSLC for the invite! #MyCompany #GBS #Innovation #Transformation
