  • Advocating for Accessible Care Shawnee Health's Christina Carney and Certified Nurse Midwife Rachael Wernsman had the opportunity to attend a roundtable discussion with Senator Tammy Duckworth to address critical issues surrounding IVF treatment in Southern Illinois. Together, they discussed current access to care and the barriers that many families face when seeking fertility treatments. We remain committed to breaking down barriers and improving healthcare access for all. Thank you, Senator Duckworth, for leading these important conversations!
