SHE Wins Inc.

SHE Wins is a leadership and mentoring organization for middle and high school girls in Newark. Founded with a primary focus on serving girls who lost a loved one violence, SHE Wins' mission is to create a pipeline of college, career, and community ready young women leaders by ensuring that girls often most exposed to harm are best prepared for post-secondary success. Approaching youth development from a trauma-informed and gender-equity lens, SHE Wins provides middle and high school girls with access to free Summer, After-school, and year-round programs and supports to empower Newark's next generation of young women leaders through sisterhood, service, and self-actualization, work that has reached more than 500 girls in the city of Newark.
