This summer, we have 52 students from a variety of majors and colleges working in 18 different departments 🙌 We have loved watching you grow, learn, and make Sheetz happen! #NationalInternDay might have come & gone, but we're never done celebrating our EPIC Internz! Meet Ethan, our Product Management Intern, and Lou, our favorite honorary Intern 🤩 "I have been a Sheetz customer since my early childhood. As a product manager, it is important for me to work for a company I am passionate about and where I can understand the customers. I am currently working on organizing the various Enterprise and Supply Chain software applications used by Sheetz into defined product lines. This will afford product managers and their delivery teams more streamlined planning and execution of product strategies."

Our Sheetz Internz get real, hands-on experience that helps them develop new skillz and strengthen their knowledge. Just ask Belle, our Strategic Research Intern! 👋 "I am currently working on three different projects for the Strategic Research team. The first one is a sustainability survey for all corporate Sheetz employees; the goal of this research is to gain feedback to improve our current sustainability practices. I am also working on a food and beverage promotional sign kit survey, which was sent to 300 store managers to gain insight and make revisions on the sign printing, delivery, and installation process. Lastly, I am doing in-person interviews with Sheetz employees who own electric vehicles to document and understand the full charging experience at a Sheetz location, and to identify gaps in the consumer experience. On top of this work, I am creating a periphery infographic weekly, which is sent to Directors, the Business Insights team, the Planning team, and more. The experience and insight that I have learned throughout my time so far with Sheetz is invaluable. I have gained more experience conducting and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative research in a professional setting. This was such a rewarding opportunity to see how the research I managed was able to answer questions for other departments. I have also had the opportunity to meet with other departments to gain exposure to other parts of the company." #NationalInternDay

From Accounting Intern ➡️ Accountant I, Mackenzie has been making Sheetz happen since last summer! "I absolutely loved my internship because I was able to learn so much, not only in accounting, but about Sheetz as a company. Everyone was always so welcoming and helpful that it made me enjoy coming to work every day!! The positive and inclusive work environment at Sheetz made it an easy decision to join the Sheetz family full-time. Students should intern with Sheetz because they get so much more than work experience in their desired field. The trainings, intern social activities, and intern mentors allow for interns to gain knowledge about professional etiquette and what Sheetz represents as a company. The amazing intern program at Sheetz is focused on ensuring that interns have the resources to succeed at work and in life!" #NationalInternDay

We're celebrating National Intern Day all WEEK! Today, meet Caitlin, our Talent Acquisition Supervisor who worked her way up after her internship on the TA team 🎉 "I completed my internship during the summer of 2013, in the Talent Acquisition department. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work in several different roles within HR. I was a temporary office associate in Talent Acquisition, a Staffing Coordinator, followed by a Staffing Specialist supporting recruitment efforts for our store operations, up until my current role, leading our Non-Store Recruiting team as a Talent Acquisition Supervisor. After having the opportunity to do my internship, I knew I didn’t think of working anywhere else! The culture at Sheetz was so welcoming, even with my limited experience I was given a lot of opportunity. If you are looking for an organization that provides SO much learning opportunity, Sheetz is the place to be. Outside of your role within your department you have a chance to learn about the business, participate in meaningful development (that you can take with you anywhere), and build strong, lasting relationships." #NationalInternDay

One goal I want to achieve is to become more involved with the company, like Sheetz For the Kids! We're celebrating #NationalInternDay all WEEK long! Meet Meghan, our Real Estate Site Selector in North Carolina 🙌 "I began my internship in May of 2013 while in grad school. I started in the HR department doing general projects and was then offered a full-time position on the Talent Acquisition team. I held various positions in TA and relocated to North Carolina to support Store Recruiting before transitioning to the Store Development Department as a Real Estate Site Selector in October 2023. I loved the people I worked with, the fun work environment, and unique culture. We work hard and celebrate our wins together. I also was proud to work for a company that gave back to the community. Interning with Sheetz is a great learning experience with opportunities for growth and development. Bonus: it’s fun and comes with many perkz!"
