As I’ve had the opportunity to let the dust settle and reflect on our recent ShopGoodwill.com e-commerce summit last week, I’m incredibly humbled and honored by the support and partnership that was represented. It’s truly amazing to note that we believe every state was represented (need to fact-check), with over 200 people in attendance. This e-summit was the perfect opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come and the exciting possibilities that lie ahead. I want to take a moment to thank our incredible vendors and sponsors who helped make this event possible, and, of course, our amazing team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring everything together. None of this would be possible without the ongoing support of our Goodwill partners—133 strong—whose dedication continues to fuel our collective success in driving revenue back to local communities for mission-related services. Speaking of those 133 strong, I want to acknowledge and thank our friends from Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana for showing us their exceptional e-commerce operations during the tour on Friday! I also want to express a heartfelt thank you to George Kessinger for his bold leadership and vision with ShopGoodwill.com. Day 1 of the ShopGoodwill.com national e-commerce summit is in the books! So proud of my team for producing an engaging conference with insightful presentations and break out sessions for participants to learn from each other. Our goal with this gathering is to support the growth of local Goodwill e-commerce operations across the US and strengthen the ShopGoodwill platform together to benefit the overall mission of Goodwill. With just over 200 people here in Indianapolis, this is the largest gathering of Goodwill e-commerce professionals ever (with every state in the country represented!).
