Hiring and Businesses: Small Businesses Lower interest rates reduce borrowing costs, making it easier for small businesses to finance expansions, purchase equipment, or manage cash flow. Additionally, businesses that were struggling with debt payments may find some relief, which can prevent layoffs. Large Corporations For larger companies, cheaper borrowing can also lead to expansion plans, mergers, or acquisitions, all of which could spur job growth.
