Siembra Today was born from a seed planted by the Latinx/e in Social Work® authors (Latinx en el Área de Trabajo Social). Sandoval CoLab provided a foundation for the seed to grow and thrive. Siembra Today are the hands that plant, nurture, and weave the soul of the seed. Together, we want to harvest a healthier community by providing accessible means of support to grow and strengthen the next generation. Today, we're overflowing with gratitude for our vibrant Latinx/e community. Our FREE mental health and wellness day at Soul Immersion was a beautiful testament to the power of coming together for healing and growth. From the insightful opening to the welcoming committee's warmth, we express deep gratitude for your support. The CE session w/ @ericapriscillas & @drcindybautistathomas on intergenerational trauma opened hearts and minds, paving the way for deeper understanding. Throughout the day, we were nourished by tea ceremonies, gentle breathwork, rejuvenating yoga, and soothing sound healing. Each experience reminded us of our collective strength and the healing power within our cultural roots. Thank you to every participant, presenter, and supporter, especially the @hispanic_federation UPLIFT grant. Together, we're cultivating wellness, honoring our heritage, and building a stronger, healthier community. Here's to many more days of connection and healing!

@mujerxsrising @lclaa @equalpay2dayorg #Trabajadoras #LatinaEqualPay https://lnkd.in/eQgcJVaw

I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ll be participating in the Xcelerator Business Summit 2024, taking place on October 3-4 at The Matrix Club in Naperville, IL. As the CEO of Sandoval CoLab, it’s an honor to be part of such a dynamic and inspiring event designed to empower entrepreneurs and business leaders through transformative discussions, hands-on workshops, and invaluable networking opportunities. What makes this experience even more special is being part of the Women of Influence panel. I’ll be joining remarkable women like Mansi Shah, Dr. Alicia La Hoz, and Maggie Antillon-Mathews to share our stories—not just about business success, but about the challenges, lessons, and growth that have shaped who we are today. It’s not just about leading a company, it’s about staying true to yourself and lifting others as you climb. This summit isn’t just another business event; it’s a space where we can come together to learn, support, and inspire each other. I’m truly looking forward to meeting fellow entrepreneurs who, like me, are passionate about making an impact and continuing to grow. Let’s come together to create real change and build something meaningful! #XceleratorBusinessSummit #WomenOfInfluence #Leadership #Resilience Dr. Alicia La Hoz Maggie Antillon-Mathews Dr. Mansi Shah @17Entertainment

Grateful to @Telemundo for amplifying our voice on suicide prevention during this critical Suicide Awareness Month. Paula Medina, @SiembraToday's Director of Community Engagement and psychotherapist, delivered a powerful message: open communication in families can be a lifeline. Her words resonated deeply, reminding us that listening and support are not just helpful - they're essential. At Siembra Today, we are committed to disrupting the oppressive barriers that limit access to mental health resources. Our mission is to equip our community with the tools to not just survive, but thrive. We believe in a future where mental well-being is accessible to everyone, without stigma or judgment. Let’s continue to push for a world where our families and loved ones feel safe to speak up, seek help, and find healing. Thank you, @Paula and @Telemundo, for leading a crucial dialogue. #SiembraToday #SuicidePrevention #AwarenessMonth #MentalHealthMatters #BreakTheStigma 17 Entertainment
