After building one of the leading names in UK distribution, Marc Goldberg founded Signature Films alongside Sarah Gabriel in 2018 with an aim to focus on storytellers, filmmakers and properties that emphasize both creativity and commercial potential. With a team of avid film lovers on board, the company brings expertise in production, distribution, finance, and working with A-list talent. Additionally, Signature Films has production financing in excess of $30 million, with the goal of producing a diverse slate of films each year, such as the British indie hit The Hatton Garden Job and the commercial actioner Final Score (starring Dave Bautista and Pierce Brosnan). Signature is currently in post-production on The Courier with Gary Oldman and Olga Kurylenko, and in pre-production on YesterNow by Nick Tomnay, a prestige romance with the producers of The Florida Project. Goldberg launched Signature Entertainment in 2011 and built it into one of the leading distribution companies in the UK. Signature Entertainment has released over 700 titles in the UK market since inception, leading the way with innovative and bold releasing strategies, as well as quality productions. Signature’s recent releases include acclaimed Scandinavian thriller The Guilty, directed by Gustav Moeller, The Negotiator starring Jon Hamm and Rosamund Pike, Jungle starring Daniel Radcliffe, Papillon starring Charlie Hunnan and Rami Malek, and Arctic starring Mads Mikkleson. In 2018, Signature Entertainment was acquired by Film Finances, and the move greatly expands the company’s distribution and financial capabilities, giving it more opportunities to grow and further its strategic initiative of becoming a destination for producers and filmmakers who want to share their story with the global audience.
