Last May, the Vancouver facility hosted an inspiring tour for students from the Washington State School for the Blind. Jay Schmidt led an engaging and informative tour, providing the students with a variety of sensory experiences. During the tour, the students could hear equipment operating, feel the "contour" of actual circuit board assemblies and stand close to processing equipment to feel how heat is applied in manufacturing. They also received information about the various applications of the products, such as aerospace, uncrewed systems, and medical equipment. Lisa Stevenson was on hand to assist with the tour and take photos #CommunityOutreach #InclusiveEducation #STEMEducation #VancouverFacility #SensoryLearning #WashingtonStateSchoolForTheBlind #HandsOnExperience #EngineeringEducation #CorporateSocialResponsibility #ImpactES #StudentEngagement

Rock Paper Scissors Showdown On June 20th, the Grants Pass team had a competitive Rock Paper Scissors tournament for a coveted pizza party prize. The event was announced by Storeroom Clerk, Jon Pietrzak. Each department nominated two champions to battle round after round until only two remained. Louis Loader from the Bond room faced off against Suzanne Rhue from the Breakout Department. Despite controversy over his cunning strategy of using rock as a primary weapon, Louis emerged victorious! #TeamBuilding #WorkplaceFun #RockPaperScissors #EmployeeEngagement #TeamSpirit #WorkplaceCommunity #ImpactES
