Trusting in AI-driven networking from the ground up 🚀 At #AINativeNOW, #theCUBE spoke with Bryan Ward, Lead Infrastructure Engineer at Dartmouth College, about the evolving trust in Juniper Networks' AI-driven solutions and their impact on campus infrastructure. “We were hesitant at first when we heard about the Juniper acquisition, but our experience with both companies independently of each other was so good that we didn't really have any worry or any doubt… Since then, we started with Mist in 2018, and over the past few years, we've realized that partnership has really been able to evolve the Mist product, the ecosystem, the AI, into a really groundbreaking technology that we leverage every day.” Bryan continues, “The Marvis AI is about taking all this data that's been captured, all of these real world scenarios, real customer problems, and analyzing it to come up with real actionable items.” 📺 Get into the complete analysis: https://lnkd.in/gpNwFcj2

Laying out top customer options, interests and needs for VMware’s ecosystem, from #Kubernetes integration to channel partner perks 📊 Join our analysts live, now! theCUBE.net “When they had their VCF moment back in March, they made Kubernetes a first class citizen,” says Rob Strechay. “That was a changing point for them,” he furthers, noting VMware’s stated roadmap. “What customers were asking for was, ‘hey, don’t make us go somewhere else for Kubernetes. Bring it in. And by the way, yes, you can sell your Tanzu platform… to actually manage all of that and have value-added things that aren’t packaged into VCF,” Strechay explains. 📺 Tune in now! theCUBE.net #LiveNews #EnterpriseComputing #VirtualizationTrends

It's basically packaging up its offerings... and saying, 'look, here's the entire bundle. Get the value out of the bundle. We're going to charge you for it.'”   Digging into the data, Vellante details the latest customer spending survey. “The percent of customers spending less [on VMware]... has jumped through the roof,” he says. As this year marks VMware’s first Explore under Broadcom’s umbrella, the industry is closely watching the evolution of this ecosystem. Discussing OSNexus scale-up and scale-out capabilities 🔝 At Supermicro’s #OpenStorageSummit, #theCUBE hears from Steven Umbehocker, CEO of OSNexus, on their scale-up and scale-out approach to data storage management. “At OSNexus, we don’t focus on scale-up or scale-out, we do both. That's because the application workloads vary, and the cost savings you get with a smaller scale-up configuration can matter in a big way to the bottom line. The other unique thing is our grid technology, which solves this management headache that organizations have around these storage silos,” Umbehocker shares. “With the grid tech, you can have multiple clusters of storage in different data centers and manage it as one. Those clusters can be a combination of scale-up and scale-out configurations under one big umbrella. We are all about aggregating the hardware and deep integration with it, and that's where we work very closely with Supermicro,” he adds. 📺 Catch the full interview: https://lnkd.in/gwzsz8-S

How intelligent automation is set to revolutionize enterprise applications 🤖 In the latest #BreakingAnalysis, theCUBE Research analysts David Vellante and George Gilbert delve into the transformative power of agentic systems. They discuss how intelligent automation will reshape the way applications are built, data is accessed, and how businesses operate. “Today’s applications are a collection of bespoke systems that have data, business logic, and associated metadata locked inside proprietary platforms,” shares Vellante. “The compartmentalized nature of these systems constricts our ability to drive end-to-end automation within an enterprise and across an ecosystem.” Gilbert adds, “We’ve been trying to bridge these islands of automation for decades... but they were all hard to maintain and evolve because they were too low-level. They were translating between applications that spoke fundamentally different languages, making them brittle.” 📺 Get into the complete analysis: https://lnkd.in/gyAt6feR
