The advent of DevOps brought increased collaboration and automation to the software development process, while hardware development today remains time-consuming and expensive. However, the rise of new technologies offers similar solutions to hardware developers and industrial engineers, such that they are able to benefit from faster and cheaper iteration processes as well.
