Here are some essential tips to ensure your fields are in top shape when spring arrives: 🧪 Soil Testing: Work with your local SGS crop advisor to conduct soil tests to identify nutrient deficiencies and apply necessary amendments. A healthy soil foundation is key to a bountiful harvest. 🌱 Cover Crops: Plant cover crops to protect the soil from erosion, improve fertility, and suppress weeds. They play a crucial role in maintaining soil health during the off-season. 👉 Field Cleaning: Clear any leftover crop debris to prevent pests and diseases from overwintering.
