Grateful to spend time with the social workers of District 21 these past 2 months! Today was our second session in a monthly series. In this session, Audrey Grunst MSW, LCSW, CCM focused in on the second step of her Growth & Resiliency Model© and how to utilize it to help students use mindfulness to decrease stress and increase resilience in and out of the classroom. We had a wonderful afternoon at the GiveNKind Nonprofit Event! Audrey Grunst MSW, LCSW, CCM presented to the nonprofit community on ‘Understanding and Caring for Vicarious Trauma: A Helper’s Guide.’ Through this workshop, participants walked away with actionable tips for developing a personalized self-care plan to manage the effects of vicarious trauma.
