To celebrate the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, Sinai Residences held an intergenerational event with 50 sixth grade students from Donna Klein Jewish Academy.    In the spirit of the holiday, the students and residents decorated lemon cookies, engaged with intergenerational conversations, and a learned more about Sukkot courtesy of our new Rabbi Tract.    Sukkot is a celebrated for seven days beginning October 16 and going through October 23. To celebrate, many Jews build a sukkah, which is a small hut. Jews live, eat and sometimes even sleep in the booth during Sukkot, commemorating the time the Israelites spent in the wild — in huts of their own — after being freed from slavery in Egypt.
