While many funds are exempt, some entities are not, creating uncertainty around compliance and potential enforcement. > Federal Ban on Non-Competes: The recent ban on non-competes is challenging how VCs retain top talent. Without non-compete clauses, firms are rethinking strategies, including adjusting vesting schedules and exploring new incentives to maintain their junior stars.
