This morning I had the privilege of volunteering with the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce YPN for our local Livestock Show. Seeing all of the passion in our younger generation of agricultural professionals as they judged their event was inspiring and made me proud to be a former “ag kid”.

As a member of YPN, I have the opportunity to attend and connect at a variety of events, with one of my favorites being Morning Buzz. This month's Morning Buzz event was held at Cooks & Bakers Kitchen, a gourmet kitchen store located within Dawley Farm Village. I immediately felt welcomed by the greeting of owner Joanne Bogus CMP and am so grateful she shared her space with us this week. It was exciting to learn about all that Cooks & Bakers offers; I had no idea! Not only do they sell a wide assortment of kitchen gadgets, but they host a variety of in-store experiences including free tastings, demonstrations, and even private events like hands-on cooking classes. This is such a cool concept to have on the east side of Sioux Falls and definitely a great spot to pick up some holiday gifts! I'm grateful to have these opportunities to learn more about businesses in the area thanks to the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce!
