🌈 Hello NIR friends! ✈ During these first weeks of September we haven't been sitting still! 🗺 Indeed, the members of the Italian Society of NIR Spectroscopy (@SISNIR) have been roaming the world, and of course they couldn't and wouldn't leave NIR2025 at home! 📍In particular: 🇮🇹 Silvia Grassi attendend the 22nd World Congress of Food Science and Technology organized by the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST) in Rimini, Italy, from the 8th to the 12th of September; 🇦🇷 Cristina Malegori attendend the 19th edition of Chemometrics in Analytical Chemistry (CAC) in Santa Fe, Argentina, from the 9th to the 12th of September; 🇮🇹 Monica Casale attended the 14th edition of Lean Lab, organized in collaboration with LifeBee - Digitalizing Life Sciences, in Milan, Italy, on the 19th of September; 🇨🇳 Federico Marini attended the 10th Chinese Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy organized by the Chinese Council on Near Infrared Spectroscopy (CCNIRS) in Beijig, China, from the 22nd to the 25th of September; 🎊 All those meetings have been wonderful, and we are both deeply excited and humbled by the possibility of speaking about NIR2025 at such important events. ❓Which was the last conference you attended this year?  ❓What is theupcoming conference you are more excited about? 🌈 Hi NIR friends! We're back from summer break and we're planning to hype you up with some exciting news about NIR2025! 🗺️ Today we'd like to introduce to you our wonderful conference venue! You can see some pictures of it in the post. 📍Renovated in the last two years, Auditorium della Tecnica and the Conference Center in Rome are adaptable to all kinds of events, corporate gatherings and much more. 📍The Plenary is the beating and technological heart of the Congress Center. It boasts about 800 fixed seats, a 9-meter speaker table, 2 galleries to follow the event and 3 screens. 📍A large Foyer is accessed from the main entrance of the Congress Center. Under the banner of modernity and flexibility of use, it is perfect for entertaining participants during breaks. 📍Adjacent to the Auditorium, 2 exhibition halls of 1,200 sqm in total offer a multifunctional space. 📍Finally, a huge terrace extends itself above the building. The Capogrossi Terrace is one beautiful synthesis between art and space. The pavement, in fact, is a giant mosaic of stoneware tiles black and white made by the famous artist Giuseppe Capogrossi, one of the major exponents of the painting informal Italian of the twentieth century. 🌈 Hi NIR friends! In this time of scientific conferences, we are not sitting still... Indeed, last week we were in Bilbao for the meeting of the International Association of Spectral Imaging! We had a great time both at the wonderful social events and during the scientific sessions. 📸 As you can see in the pictures, we took the chance to spread knowledge about the ICNIRS conference that will happen next year in Rome.
