About us
Sisters Code was founded in 2014 with the goal of "Awakening the Mature Geek," by empowering women ages 25 - 85+ to explore the world of coding and technology. To date we have worked with 1500+ women and girls to become software developers or start their own businesses and we are not done! We also offer technical assistance, workshop and events for small business owners with an emphasis on food, technology, and mobility. We have helped hundreds of founders explore, start, scale and grow. As a partner of the Highland Park Community Kitchen located in Highland Park, Michigan we are intentionally focused on the intersection of food+ mobility to solve for food deserts and food insecurity.

Excited to join the Michigan Week Parade in Highland Park Michigan. We (Highland Park Community Kitchen and Sisters Code) are activating our outdoor space, so please come out to watch the parade, eat some great food, play games and fellowship. The parade starts at noon and the festivities end at 4 p.m. We will offer complimentary coffee from Sepia Coffee and Food from The Fellas Chicken and Ribs Food Truck, and snow cones for all! (while supplies last) We have seating for approximately 50, so please feel free to bring your own chair.
