About us
Our organization is comprised of professional black women pilots who represent less than ½ of 1% of the total professional pilot career field. In a profession that lacks diversity, SISTERS of the SKIES provides encouragement, professional development, and support to our members. Whether on the flight deck or social situations, we strive to be there for our SISTERS of the SKIES!

Throwback to where it all began in 2016! Our co-founders saw a need and took action to address it. Their mission to increase the number of Black women pilots and diversify the skies is at the core of everything we do. From events to programs, it's embedded in our every interaction. Remember, you can be a problem solver for the inequalities you see around you. See it, believe it, achieve it! #SistersoftheSkies #WomenInAviation #DiversityInAviation #MissionDriven #BeTheChange #ProblemSolver
