Since the 2022 U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) ruling requiring lighting products to meet new standards, 14 states and the District of Columbia have approved or proposed even stricter standards, effectively banning the sale of fluorescent lights. For schools, office buildings, hospitals, warehouses, and all buildings that have used these bulbs to date, lighting retrofits will be required to replace the banned products. Our latest blog breaks down the state restrictions and how you can stay in compliance: https://lnkd.in/dfRaYfdQ #lightingbans #fluorescentlights #led #ledlighting #lightingretrofit #statelightingbans

SitelogIQ Energy Engineer, Emily S., recently visited SUNDALE UNION ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT (SUESD) in Tulare, CA, for a Solar Education Day as part of our energy education services. She engaged with 3rd-5th and 7th-8th grade students to share insights on solar energy and careers within the field. This event complemented our ongoing energy generation project on campus. SIQ worked closely with District Superintendent Cindy Gist, to develop a tailored curriculum to educate students about solar technology, its applications, and how to leverage efficiency through simple consumption habits. #SolarEducation #EnergyEducation #RenewableEnergy #STEMCareers #EnergyEfficiency #SitelogIQ
