SiteWorks Partner Julia Gold guided a field walk at Green-Wood Cemetery earlier this month as part of a prestigious line-up of designers and horticulturalists involved in the development of the historic grounds. Julia walked participants through the design and construction of the recently completed Rosewood section of the Cemetery, along with SiteWorks’ role in the completion of the landscape there. #greenwoodcemetary #siteworks #graincollective #nelsonbyrdwoltz #culturallandscapefoundation

SiteWorks is thrilled to announce that we will be the Landscape Architect of Record for Lincoln Center's Reimagining Amsterdam Avenue Side of its Campus project. We will be joining a team of talented and renowned professionals including Hood Design Studio, Weiss/Manfredi, Moody Nolan, along with other consultants. The first phase of design will focus on Damrosch Park to deliver a major revitalization, providing open space for New Yorkers and state-of-the-art performance areas for artists from across the globe. Guided by broad community input, this marks Lincoln Center’s continued commitment to signature investments that open up the campus to more New Yorkers. That means a Damrosch Park that is both a state-of-the-art outdoor performance space and a welcoming place where students, neighbors, and visitors can meet up with friends, relax, have a snack, watch a summer show, and take a moment to enjoy the magic of the City. We’re thrilled to announce that Ruth Nervig has joined our partnership team! Throughout her tenure at SiteWorks, she has consistently shown a deep abiding dedication to our work, our clients, and her coworkers. Ruth’s ability to manage through complexity and to do so with such grace and positivity has made her an indispensable part of the SiteWorks team. As we head toward our 20th year in business, we have strategically expanded our reach and capacity to help clients transform visionary ideas into durable, maintainable landscapes throughout the communities in which we work. Through Ruth’s unique blend of technical expertise and a humanistic sensibility, she provides our clients and teaming partners with confidence that their projects will be managed sensibly and successfully. It’s safe to say that Ruth qualifies as a ‘multi-hyphenate’, with an array of life experience and interests that complement her work in compelling ways. From serving in the Peace Corps, working as a professional gardener and interior designer, to volunteering time protecting and conserving the Gowanus Canal, Ruth lives her life focused on reducing friction between people and the natural environment. Coupled with her ability to communicate, collaborate, and manage highly complex projects, Ruth brings an exceptional blend of skills and insights that have only served to enhance SiteWorks’ client services. We are excited for what the future holds!
