“Employees really appreciate the insights on a more granular level rather than just looking at high-level average occupancy.” Bernie Mehl, CEO & Co-founder of Kisi, shares how the ability to look at occupancy data on a more granular level can lead to better use of space. He explains: “Access control recently became one of the most popular data points because it can provide occupancy data in a way that you can also analyze it by teams.” The granularity allows organizations to look for anomalies in occupancy data by teams and even individuals. Organizations can then use this data as a trend indicator and a prompt to talk to teams or individuals to optimize office space use and enhance the workplace experience. Tune in for the latest access control data to inform your hybrid workplace decisions: https://lnkd.in/g5Yu5Y-h #hybridwork #flexiblework #Skedda

“In each physical location of the studio, there are different role type setups, so there will be different equipment related to that role. The user tags that we have assigned to each user determine their ability to book there.” Aidan Murtagh, Director of Workplace Operations and Facilities at Brown Bag Films, explains how Skedda helps them allocate spaces based on specific roles. Brown Bag Films—well-known for children’s animated shows and films like Karma’s World, Octonauts, and Peter Rabbit—embraced flexible seating coming out of the pandemic to support their hybrid work setup. Instead of requiring permanently assigned desks, drawing pads, and other tools for each animator, Brown Bag Films uses Skedda’s rules and roles feature to share and assign these resources among staff when they need it. Murtagh shares how Skedda streamlines hot desking and seat sharing: “Today, 90% of our desks are spaces that are available as shared spaces. Because each person has a laptop that connects to a desktop underneath a desk, it doesn't matter where they are working now.” Read the customer story in full: https://lnkd.in/evAXMRtH #hybridwork #flexiblework #Skedda
