Today, we participated in the Hispanic Heritage Festival hosted by the Community Alliance of the Far Eastside! This week we completed our first English Language Learners workshops with a graduation celebration! We are so excited to work alongside these incredible individuals to help them complete their English Classes! Some students were hesitant to try and speak English at the beginning of the week, but by the end of the week, we had several students attempting to speak English and were super excited to take the next step in their journey to learning the English language! They will receive an official QMA Certificate of Completion after completing an additional 40 practicum hours at a local nursing facility. 🏆 Having successfully navigated the initial phase of the program, you have achieved a significant milestone.
