We are thrilled to have kicked off the BS4INNO – Business Succession for Innovation project with a successful meeting in Athens. This Erasmus+ KA220-VET initiative aims to bridge the gap between SMEs and business succession planning by training Business Succession Planners (BSPs) with digital skills and tools essential for guiding SMEs through their transition processes. The kick-off meeting took place as scheduled, bringing together a highly competent and professional team. It was an excellent opportunity to align our strategies, review project objectives, and start working on key areas such as benchmarking, modular training development, and the creation of an online VET course. For Skillman.eu, both Giovanni Crisonà and Anita Stec attended, contributing to discussions on the Learning VET Online Course, which will be published on learn.skillman.eu —our dedicated platform for learning resources and participant engagement. This project represents a great opportunity for Skillman members, as it will provide high-quality educational content and support for business continuity through innovation. Exciting times ahead! Skillman.eu Promotes International Mobility for Young Entrepreneurs On 27 January 2025, the University of Pescara will host a roundtable organised by the Skillman.eu network’s member Gabriella Russo of Metiva. This event represents a crucial opportunity to explore and activate innovative initiatives linked to the Erasmus+ programme, with a particular focus on international mobility. Skillman.eu is actively contributing to this initiative by presenting the mobility opportunities offered by the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme. This cross-border exchange programme provides new opportunities for growth and development for emerging entrepreneurs. The event will also create connections between the opportunities for entrepreneurs provided by the DG Employment programme and the synergistic initiatives funded through DG Education’s Erasmus+ programme. During the event, sector experts will discuss specific topics and reflect on pathways for the future of vocational education and entrepreneurship. The roundtable will be a unique occasion to strengthen collaboration between local and international entities, facilitating access to EU funding and developing strategies to address current social and professional challenges.
