In just two months, we’ll have the power to make real change at the ballot box. While national issues often dominate the conversation, local propositions like Prop 33 (Justice for Renters Act) will have a major impact on property ownership and housing across California. If passed, Prop 33 will expand rent control by repealing protections from the Costa-Hawkins Act and giving city and county control over rent caps. This means fewer incentives for small property owners, reduced housing quality, and more corporate control of our communities. The Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA) is fighting hard to stop this, but we need everyone’s help. It’s critical that property owners, managers, and voters understand what’s at stake. ✅ Vote NO on Prop 33 this November to protect property ownership and housing quality. Spread the word, get involved, and if possible, support the AAGLA campaign.
