About us
Skyrocket was founded on the belief that quality education should be equally accessible to all. We are fueled by the desire to ensure that schools have the critical resources needed to support the academic and social/emotional maturation of every student. With an emphasis on serving schools with diverse and low-socioeconomic student populations and non-traditional learning environments, Skyrocket leadership has over a century’s worth of combined experience leading schools and operational support teams. Skyrocket’s niche expertise is in the intersection between academic and administrative performance. Providing quality education to diverse student populations while maintaining fiscal health is challenging. In fact, it is a tremendous responsibility that stymies even the most competent and compassionate administrators. Our belief is that Principals and Superintendents can’t go it alone; they need a team of folks in the background, tirelessly committed to helping realize the common goals of administrators, teachers, school staff members, students, and their families. Skyrocket offers an expansive integrated suite of support services, allowing us to leverage the breadth of our diverse team’s experience to bridge the gap between academic and operational excellence.

Absenteeism on Nov. 1 doesn’t have to be scary! With Halloween around the corner, school leaders can be proactive and use this seasonal challenge as an opportunity to reinforce attendance. See our favorite tips from Education Week. 👻 Engage families early: Communicate with parents in the week leading up to Halloween to reinforce attendance, particularly for students with existing absentee issues 🔮 Avoid event overload: A day packed with non-academic activities might send the wrong message 🍭 Motivate with rewards: Encourage competition by awarding the class with the highest attendance on November 1 🎃 Think outside the box: One school’s eye-catching “pumpkin toss” event was a surprisingly effective attendance booster

October is both Bullying Prevention Month and LGBTQ+ History Month. 🌈 Here's why this matters: Recent data shows LGBTQ+ high school students are bullied at much higher rates than their straight peers. - 23% bullied on school property (vs. 7% of straight peers) - 27% cyberbullied (vs. 13% of straight peers) These numbers are more than statistics – they represent real students in our care. What steps can we take to make our schools safer and more inclusive for everyone? Share your thoughts below. #EdLeadership #LGBTQHistoryMonth #SchoolSafety
