We've got a little sneak peek for you! 👀🌎 Today, we invited the media to see the newly installed World Map! The World Map once again graces the airport's floor as part of Phase 3, which opens October 22. Phase 3 includes the Central Tunnel, the Concourse B mini plaza, five additional gates, and 12 new shops and restaurants. We're counting down the days!

The Wasatch 🤝 The Ozarks Delta Air Lines is starting nonstop service between SLC and Fayetteville, Arkansas (XNA Northwest Arkansas National Airport) on February 13! Whether skiing the Greatest Snow on Earth or riding the trails of the “best bike town” in Fayetteville, outdoor lovers will embrace this new connection.

Bravo for terrazzo! 👏   Our construction team is literally on their hands and knees, putting the finishing touches on our beloved World Map. The crew recently installed the terrazzo flooring around the map. We're one step closer to the big reveal on October 22! 

Congratulations to Artist Gordon Huether on winning a CODAaward for The Peaks installation. The internationally-acclaimed CODAawards celebrate projects that successfully integrate commissioned art into interior, architectural or public spaces. The Peaks is a monumental gateway to SLC installed in 2023. Inspired by the majestic Wasatch Mountains, the five towering elements pay tribute to Utah’s five Native American tribes—Diné (Navajo), Goshute, Paiute, Shoshone and Ute—which are part of the state’s eight sovereign nations as well as the five elements of the natural world: air, earth, fire, space and water.
