Drive Makes Dreams Come True! Luke Norton is more than just an intern; he’s a man of ambition, believing that drive and unconventional thinking open doors! His contagious spirit radiates in everything he does, from playing and watching basketball to helping poverty-stricken countries through the Cookie Project in Honduras, a ministry that provides cookies with vitamins and nutrients vital to malnourished children, as well as hygiene, water, education, and much more! Luke has many aspirations, such as traveling to Italy, Egypt, Japan, and Germany so he can experience other cultures, learning AI applications, and potentially owning a sports franchise. Although he has been successful in many career and academic endeavors, he takes great pride in his engagement to his fiance because he anticipates the novelty of this chapter of life and the newfound responsibilities that come with it. Luke’s unwavering enthusiasm and ability to think outside the box are admirable; it takes heart to make a difference, and he is doing just that! Many thanks to ARA and Dale Baker for giving him this internship opportunity and seeing the person in the intern. #Doitwithdrive #Lionup #SELU

Lego of the Fear—Go for It! Bryce Norris is more than just an intern; he’s a man of devotion, believing success rests upon loyalty and sacrifice, not solely ability. He finds solace in upbeat activities and aesthetics such as interacting with his dogs, spending time with loved ones, and occasionally indulging in a fantasy novel, as they help him decompress. In addition, he has an undying love for The LEGO Movie due to the nostalgia he revels in and the message of striving to do your very best, a virtue he lives by. Bryce is always cutting-edge, perfecting his craft through personal projects like building a desktop in his dorm room! However, he still has many aspirations, such as prioritizing fitness, developing handyman skills, and traveling to the West. Although he has been successful in many career and academic endeavors, he takes great pride in him and a few other like-minded students creating a robotics team at Denham Springs High School and building a robot that won 6th place in the international FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). Bryce's dedication to his craft and community is commendable, and we are so proud that he is a lion! Many thanks to MMR Group and Robin White for giving him this internship opportunity and seeing the person in the intern. #Sacrificebuildscharacter #Lionup #SELU

I'm Still Standin': You can't keep a good man down. Jared Talbot is more than just an intern; he’s a man of integrity who lives by the virtue of patience! His fascination with computers was sparked at the age of seven, as his dad, who programmed computers, would allow him to probe code editors. Jared has many aspirations he plans to see through, such as developing his own combat game that features a time control aspect, in addition to learning a new language, traveling back to Arizona, and learning to play an instrument. Many experiences have shaped who he is today, but in his most recent years, he identified the culture of Southeastern’s Department of Computer Science as helping him develop his interpersonal skills and create fulfilling connections while heightening his knowledge. Although he has been successful in many career and academic endeavors, he takes great pride in learning two computer languages in a week and designing menus for an open-source game for a personal project. On top of that, he relishes the achievement of developing a website, server, and mobile app for the imaginary train-transport company Entrack in CMPS 383. Jared has the conscientiousness we all strive for and are so happy he is a lion! Many thanks to Envoc and Calvin Fabre for giving him this internship opportunity and seeing the person in the intern. #Thespiritofsuccess #Lionup #SELU

He is drawn to outlets such as video games, fantasy web novels, and cooking because they let his imagination run wild. Ethan's passion is his inner compass, driving him to incorporate industry trends like cybersecurity and automation into his personal projects. He has many aspirations, such as traveling to Rome and Greece due to his love of mythology, as well as skydiving. Although he's been successful in many career and academic endeavors, he takes great pride in his capstone project. This endeavor has allowed him to create a fantasy game that takes the art of storytelling to a level of immersion previously unheard of! The community within the Department of Computer Science inspires him, empowering him through the enriching environment of teaching and learning they provide. Ethan is bright, and his future is even brighter; we are proud he is a lion! Many thanks to Southeastern Louisiana University's English Department and David Hanson for giving him this internship opportunity and seeing the person in the intern. #Imaginationneverdies #Lionup #SELU
