Empowering the next generation through financial literacy! 💰📚 We were honored to partner with Microsoft for their BAM Minority Student Day Event, where our Smart Financial team led two engaging financial literacy sessions for high school students. Through an interactive simulation, students stepped into adult roles—complete with occupations, salaries, and financial responsibilities. They navigated real-world scenarios, making decisions about budgeting, saving, and planning for their futures. Watching these bright young minds tackle financial challenges with such enthusiasm was truly inspiring! Our mission at Smart Financial extends beyond banking—we're committed to equipping young people with the knowledge and skills they need for financial success. Today's students are tomorrow's leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers, and we're proud to play a role in their journey. Smart Financial had the honor and privilege of teaching financial literacy to over 250 students in 6th – 8th grade at Ulrich Intermediate School in Klein ISD. Each student was assigned a family scenario and occupation, then guided through real life decisions regarding housing, transportation, childcare, groceries and much more. Through this engaging financial simulation, our goal was to help prepare students for real-world success by experiencing the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Special thanks to Mrs. Garnett and Mr. Freeman, Principles of Human Services Teachers, at Ulrich Intermediate School, for partnering with Smart Financial to bring financial education to their students. The interactive format made learning about personal finance both fun and impactful for these young minds. Smart Financial is dedicated to giving back to the communities it serves by promoting financial literacy.

Today we had the privilege to attend Child Advocates Of Fort Bend’s, “Thank You Luncheon”! The event highlighted the organization’s outstanding accomplishments in 2024 within the Fort Bend community and surrounding counties. We are eager to continue our partnership, and further CAFB’s mission to drive positive change to heal the hurt and break the cycle of abuse and neglect for children and families.

Smart Financial employees and their families volunteered at one of our biggest community partners, Annual Toy Distribution, Houston Children's Charity. The toy distribution was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center resulting in over 18,512 families receiving Christmas toys. This initiative embodied the Smart Financial Foundation's mission to Change Lives, Improve Communities and Achieve Dreams!
