We’ve collaborated with The US Department of Homeland Security's Know2Protect campaign to introduce a new Lens aimed at helping teens identify and navigate online risks. The Lens engages teens through a fun and interactive quiz that poses true-false questions about online safety and how to prevent potential online harms. “The Know2Protect Snapchat Lens equips teens with important information about online safety in an interactive way. We encourage parents and trusted adults to also check it out. We’re testing a simplified version of Snapchat centered around communicating with friends, taking pictures, and entertainment! Here’s how it looks: 📷 Open to Camera – as always, when Snapchatters open the app, they’ll immediately see their world through our camera. 💬 Chat is on the left, with Stories at the top and a Snap Map button at the bottom so it’s easy to translate conversations into real-world plans. 🫶 On the right, personalized content that combines Stories and Spotlight videos.
