DiBernardo Memorial Foundation is to provide fire departments in need with safety training and personal life safety systems. The organization was founded by people directly impacted by the FDNY “Black Sunday” where 3 firefighters lost their lives and 3 suffered life-changing injuries – all because they had no way out but a 5th story window. At Snap-tite Hose, we’re more than just hoses – we’re a community that cares. This October, Snap-tite's Employee Engagement Committee chose to support Linked By Pink a nonprofit providing emotional and financial support for young women diagnosed with breast cancer. Through our Snap-tite Cares Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirt fundraiser, we were able to collect $3,444! This incredible total was made possible thanks to our employees and a generous match from CEO James Novinsky whose late mother was a breast cancer survivor. We would also like to recognize Union City Finishing Operator Roger McClelland, for his special match contribution in honor of his daughter who is currently battling breast cancer and under going radiation treatment. We stand in solidarity with the fighters, survivors, and loved ones affected by breast cancer.
