Spotlight on Women’s Health at the 9th Annual Boca Symposium for Metabolic Health As part of our continued commitment to advancing metabolic health, we’re excited that an entire day of the upcoming Boca Symposium for Metabolic Health will be dedicated to Women’s Health. Led by Jodi Nishida, PharmD, MHP & Andrea Salcedo, DO, MPH , this special day will focus on how metabolic therapies, such as Therapeutic Carbohydrate Reduction (TCR), can be used to address critical women’s health issues like hormonal imbalances, PCOS, thyroid health & female cancers as well as address the overall difference w/ women & weight loss. “Women’s Health is such an underrepresented & misunderstood topic in modern healthcare,” says Dr. Nishida. “Too many women are prescribed medications or surgeries with no discussion about how diet or lifestyle changes could prevent or reverse their conditions. This conference is a chance to change that.” Dr. Salcedo will also share her expertise on the link between endometriosis and the gut microbiome, highlighting the role of gut health in managing this often debilitating condition. Nutritional interventions, including probiotics & omega-3 fatty acids, offer promising alternatives to conventional treatments. This is a can’t-miss opportunity to learn about the latest advancements in women’s metabolic health from experts in the field, network with like-minded individuals & take part in groundbreaking discussions.
