“What if our measure of learning wasn't coming from exams?” We are often asked how we measure the impact of our project-based curriculum. Hear it from Raya, our Founder & CEO. 🚀
About us
The world needs a new education system. School of Humanity reimagines how and what we learn in order to equip the next generation to create an exciting future for themselves and for humanity. We are a breakthrough online high school reinventing education. Instead of exams, we learn through real-world projects. Instead of a standardized curriculum, we learn through personalized learning journeys. Instead of memorization, we focus on developing our skills, network, and portfolios. In addition to our in-house programs, we have a track record of collaborating with schools and governments who share our mission for reinventing education. We believe that transforming our global education systems will take a movement led by inspiring school leaders, passionate educators, and concerned citizens globally. We partner with existing schools by offering cutting-edge professional development, future-ready supplementary programs, an alternative high school offering, and bespoke programs and consulting. Our unique curriculum equips learners with the capabilities to thrive in an exponentially changing world. We learn by tackling global challenges while receiving personalized mentorship from global experts. Every learner participates in termly internships with pioneering organizations. Human flourishing sits at the center of our curriculum, as we guide learners to develop purpose and well-being in life. Learners also receive purpose-driven career and university advisory on a weekly basis. Our vision is to reinvent our global education system, to better serve humanity.

This week, our Founder Raya Bidshahri delivered an inspiring workshop on “Schools of the Future” at GITEX GLOBAL Largest Tech & Startup Show in the World, the world’s largest technology conference. 🚀 During the workshop, Raya utilized first principles thinking to reimagine education for the next generation. She encouraged participants to reflect on what the school of the future would look like if we designed it from scratch, questioning: 💭 What would we learn? 🧑🚀 How would we learn it? 💫 How would we assess learning? It was inspiring to hear participants’ vision for a future of education that is personalized, emphasizes the importance of human skills, and equips learners to make a positive impact on the world.

We are honored to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for this year's QS Reimagine Education Awards under the Assessment category! 🌟 Our submission highlights our innovative approach to reimagining high school assessments through interdisciplinary projects. At our school, we do not assess learning through standardized, and closed-book exams. Instead, learners evidence their learning via interdisciplinary projects. Some of these projects are led and scaffolded by educators, while others are learner-led. They are mapped to learning outcomes from our core curriculum. QS Reimagine Education Awards serves as a prestigious platform to recognize and celebrate the pioneers of education across the world. This recognition is a huge testament to the incredible work of our educators. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life! 🙌
