It’s easy to find a bunch of people recommending settings online. But what they don’t tell you, is that dialing in your ideal temps and batch times requires you to do some experimenting and tweaking as you go. You can make pretty good hash by following someone else’s recipe, but when you’re trying to win cups (with Z) or scale production efficiency, you need to develop heuristics based off of your own findings. Everyone’s grow and resin is going to be different. Even running the same cultivar across different seasons or rooms a facility can have a drastic impact on how a strain behaves when it’s getting dried. So the only real “secret” to shelf temps is logging your different batches and seeing how different parameters impact both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of your hash: * How long did it take to dry? * How many times did you have to check on it? * How easy was it to work with in post-processing? * What was the overall quality like? By tracking these factors and experimenting with different settings, you can start to zero in on the perfect recipe for your specific product goals and process. Remember, the goal is to find the optimal balance between quality and efficiency for YOUR hash. What works for someone else may not be the best fit for you. Let your own data and notes guide your shelf temp decisions — not strangers on the internet. Do you track times/temps and their impact on your hash? #cannabis #solventless #rosin #icewaterhash #freezedrying

Hey folks, lots of updates since our last post. We’ve dispatched over 120 HashyLinks across the globe to new faces, old friends, and many hash makers/labs that we’ve admired since first getting into the space. Now, some recent highlights... ✅ Achieved more than 2,500 batches processed through our devices. 🕑 Surpassed 80,000 hours of runtime. 1. Enhanced vacuum accuracy and lowered the detection threshold to around 100mtorr for more precise monitoring. 2. Better error detection across various HarvestRight models and firmware versions, meaning more reliable alerts and less false alarms. 3. Our device can now be updated while on, facilitating easier feature rollouts and uninterrupted operation for those running their freeze dryers 24/7. 4. Built new customer support tools internally that help us help you a lot faster. Looking at the road ahead... - Partnerships with other freeze dryer companies to provide more alternatives to hash makers and pursue full recipe control. - Working with companies to provide fine-tuned control on Harvest Right devices through add-on units. - Launching drying endpoint detection features to prevent over-drying and preserve terpenes. We’re very excited for the Rosin Tech Products seminar coming up in a couple of weeks. We will be there along with Humphrey Hashish, who will be teaching an in-depth class on freeze drying for solventless and demoing how HashyLink can help you dial in drying parameters. If you’re going to be out in SoCal, shoot Chase Sater a message to link up for a sesh. #solventless #rosin #icewaterhash #cannabisindustry #cannabistech
