Football season is in full swing, which means tailgates and watch parties with friends. With this comes great food and drinks, but also a responsibility to be aware of food safety protocols to keep everyone in the game. One way to avoid food poisoning and illness is to be aware of cross-contamination in your kitchen. 🏈🍔 Cross-contamination can be avoided by: ✔️Separating raw meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs from other food in your shopping cart ✔️Keeping raw meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs separate from all other foods in the refrigerator ✔️Not washing raw chicken or turkey ✔️Using separate cutting boards for raw meats and produce ✔️Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water after touching raw meat, poultry, seafood, or eggs ✔️Washing your utensils, cutting boards, and countertops with hot, soapy water after preparing raw meat, poultry, seafood, or eggs ✔️Keeping cooked meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs on a separate plate from raw meat, poultry, seafood and eggs

We want to wish Don a very happy retirement after spending 40 years at Solidstate Controls!
