Sonalysts, Inc. is celebrating its 50th Anniversary!   David and Muriel Hinkle started Sonalysts in their backyard stone cottage, and the company has certainly changed since then. We look back with tremendous pride and fondness as we celebrate the many diverse projects we have been a part of and customers we have served.   Over 3000 employee-owners have worked alongside each other throughout the years, sharing garden parties and company picnics together with our families. Today we take great pride in our reputation as a successful nationwide business, and look forward to continuing to serve our valued customers. Cheers to 50 more years! #Sonalysts #employeeownership

The Sonalysts Innovation Group (SIG) is pleased to announce four micro-grant awards for FY2024 Quarter 1:  ·        Alan Zheng: Investigation of Cesium with Unreal Visualization Technologies ·        Thomas Abate: Research in Image Identification ·        Edward Crawley: Prototype for Media Analysis and Resource Training Tool ·        George Roberts: Thermal Infrared Imaging Research   A SIG micro-grant is a mechanism for Sonalysts partners to apply for training discretionary funds to support prototyping an idea that could be used to obtain new customers and work, and to investigate new products and technologies. Micro-grants are a good intermediate step for developing an idea before pitching to the company at mid-year/end-of-year meetings, and provide an opportunity for partners to manage a project in terms of resources. All Sonalysts partners have the opportunity to apply for a micro-grant on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sonalysts, Inc. has continuously worked in support of the U.S. Navy Submarine Force during the entire 51 year life of the company. In fact, Sonalysts’ first Government contract was awarded in 1973 to study the operational employment of cruise missiles in the Submarine Force. Since then, Sonalysts has successfully expanded into other bodies of work in support of the U.S. Government and the Department of Defense, but contracts in direct support of the U.S. Navy Submarine Force have remained a significant portion of the company’s work and the original heart and soul of the company.    Today, our contracts supporting the Submarine Force range broadly from designing and maintaining submarine imaging, Electronic Warfare (EW), Sonar, Torpedo, and Combat systems to facilitating workshops that identify and assess the needed technical capabilities for future submarine designs.   On this day (11 April), we wish to extend a “Very Happy 124th Birthday” to the U.S. Navy Submarine Force and to all current and former Submariners.  #USNavy #NationalSubmarineDay

Sonalysts, Inc. partners participated in Surface Navy Association (SNA) 36th Annual National Symposium, held in Arlington VA. The symposium allowed partners to partake in various discussion forums and observe emerging surface ship technologies and programs, while providing an opportunity to meet up with past shipmates, associates and make new connections with others in the Surface Warfare community.

Sonalysts, Inc. wishes the United States Space Force a Happy 4th Birthday! Coincidentally, we also celebrate the 15th Anniversary of our Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract to provide a Standard Space Trainer (SST) capability to the Space Force. SST has replaced several satellite training systems and simulators, of which many were replicas of the operational systems, in an effort to have a more efficient, sustainable, and less costly training system with more comprehensive coverage of all training requirements. Our journey began in support of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) under a Phase I SBIR in 2002, exploring a then-new operating concept that resulted in today’s service to Space Training Acquisition Office’s (STAO’s) contribution to Space Force mission success. Over 140 Sonalysts Partners provide expertise in project management, Space Force operations, software engineering, instructional system design, DEVSECOPS, and testing, and are proud to serve our Guardians. #Sonalysts

Sonalysts, Inc. celebrated the U.S. Marine Corps’ 248th birthday, and our 50th year of support to them! We are truly grateful for that “eternal spirit which has animated our corps from generation to generation, and has been the distinguishing mark of Marines in every age,” as MajGen John A. Lejeune noted in Marine Corps Order 47, which was published on 1 November 1921, and has been read at celebrations around the world every year since.     Our Lexington, MA, team held a ceremony to commemorate the occasion, and we are grateful to Caleb Sackett, a Marine Corps reservist, who read General Lejeune’s order and this year’s birthday message from the Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Eric Smith.      Here’s to the Marine Corps’ rich legacy and the collaborative sprit that drives innovation in defense and beyond. Happy birthday, Marines, and Semper Fidelis!    #SemperFi #MarineCorpsBirthday #Collaboration #Sonalysts
