Made from real ingredients like dates, tahini, and oats, these plant-powered bites are soft, and chewy without any refined sugar, sugar alcohols, or preservatives. 🌱 You may notice they look a little different too! We gave the Snack Bites a bit of a refresh ✨ so they would stand out to shoppers on the shelf. A major thank you to Jaclyn Sands for re-envisioning this design with us. In anticipation of this store launch (and another coming soon 👀), we revamped the store finder on our website using Dathic which allowed us to add SKU availability per store! SPOTTED! 👀 In the NOSH 2024 Packaged Food Guide. Catch a sneak peek of our newly designed label for what was once Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Tahini—now reimagined as Chocolate Sea Salt Sesame Spread! Last fall we were featured on BevNET.com & Nosh.com's Review The Sku community call where we received incredibly insightful feedback on how consumers were responding to our product and packaging. Our main takeaway? Using "tahini" in the name created a barrier for those unfamiliar with it. We put our marketing thinking caps on and got to work with Pulp+Wire to re-envision our chocolate tahini as a chocolate spread! We focused on leaning into its indulgent flavor, simple ingredients, and most importantly, put more emphasis on its chocolate nature! We had an amazing time at Joe Yonan’s cookbook talk with Mike Solomonov at Goldie to celebrate his latest release, Mastering The Art of Plant-Based Cooking! 🎉 The best way to engage and connect with our target audience? At cookbook tours! "Barbara", one of our consumer personas, appreciates any opportunity to engage directly with chefs and cookbook authors she admires. She takes home these learnings and product recommendations to create restaurant-quality meals at home for her family, grandchildren, and friends when she hosts dinner parties and Shabbat meals. That's why cookbook tours align so well with our audience — to connect with a highly targeted, super engaged audience who loves learning about chef-preferred products and recreating their dishes at home. When we ended DTC sales this past December we knew that our website needed to shift from being formatted as an e-comm site to better serve as a marketing tool. Our focus was to update our homepage and product pages, giving a better landing page of information to new customers looking to learn more about Soom and our product lines. So what did we do? Recently, we partnered with Camila Casanas, an LA-based private chef who curates dining events, for her latest pop-up dinner at Honey Hi. The pop-up dinner wasn't just about the food, though. It was about the experience – the laughter, the conversations. A perfect example of our mission in action! It's events like this that really draw home our connection to the food service industry and the way community is found sitting across the table. ❤️
