Shout out to our CEO, Brandy Schultz, for representing us on this panel. With our Surf & Turf program, artists and arenas can restore nature with every ticket sold. We are delighted to collaborate with this group and build a world where gathering does good. Oak View Group, Warner Music Group, The Climate Pledge, Amazon

What can live music do to fight #climatechange? I explored this topic last week in a panel with #lumineers lead singer Wesley Schultz, Oak View Group CEO Timothy Leiweke, and #SoundFuture founder Brandy Schultz. I was truly inspired to hear the steps that artists, developers, and non-profits are taking to reduce the environmental impact of live concerts and tours. Whether they are contributing a portion of ticket sales to environmental clean-up efforts, or reimagining how they design large arenas like the #climatepledgearena to be #netzero - these incredible leaders are taking bold steps to address climate change, and serving as an example to the broader music industry. This panel was part of Amazon's #climatepledgesummit24, which gathered similar innovators and visionaries across industries. A huge thank you to Kara H. Hurst and Meighan McLafferty for inviting me to be part of this energizing summit!

Regeneration.VC's Reassembly event for NY Climate Week was so high quality - incredible minds, interesting programming, and a wide variety of topics. Even the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley graced us with her presence and a pep talk! I was lucky to have been invited by them and Kelci Zile of EnVest to chat alongside Grant Canary and Mari Granström about Biodiversity and Restoration as part of a 3-part fireside chat series. Some things we covered in a short 10 minutes included: 🥵 The current ways of capturing carbon and producing useful materials are not working for the health of our planet and humans/other species. 🐡 When we think about the harmful effects of plastics, we usually don't think of negative effects to biodiversity first; however, every plastic that is harmful to humans and contains toxic chemicals is ALSO harmful to other species. It's not always a physical choking hazard that leads to plastic pollution endangering other species, it also includes leaching chemicals into our soils and water systems. 🍄 Mycelium materials have the properties needed to replace many toxic products on the planet - such as PVC/PU earplugs 1:1, with massive benefits to the planet and zero compromise on quality and function. 🌊 Mari Granström of Origin by Ocean has a mission to make the chemical industry run on invasive algae while fostering sustainable economic opportunities, creating a future where environmental health and business prosperity go hand in hand. 🌲 Grant Canary of Mast Reforestation is doing so much for resilience in their silvaculture & reforestation practices (i..e site prep), teeing up for biomass burial and carbon sequestration.

If you’re interested in learning how one decision can produce more nutritious food, save our country’s farmland, create unprecedented profits for farmers, and draw down carbon- request a screening of Common Ground (Movie) in your town. Regenerative agriculture is such a simple idea, and it will absolutely transform our food system in a durable and deeply positive way - to say nothing of how compatible with American ideals it is 🇺🇸 Thank you Kiss The Ground for raising soil awareness for the rest of us. Personally, I’m fortunate to have been a part of Sweet Farm since 2016, and they were my initial gateway into learning about sustainable agricultural practices. It’s organizations like these that will serve as our bridge to the food system of tomorrow. #regenerative #climate #climatetech

GOB™️ - the first completely plant-based, plastic-free foam earplugs made from oyster mushroom mycelium. 🍄🟫🚀👏

CEO of GOB → Reinventing Wearable Wellness

COMING OUT OF STEALTH MODE, AND INTO GOB™️ MODE. Friends, I'm thrilled to share something big. It all started during the pandemic when my partner, Eric, formed a new band called DROUGHT (check them out on Spotify!). Suddenly, our house became a lot louder than I was used to. Around the same time, my mom lost her hearing. These two seemingly unrelated events led me down an unexpected path. To protect my hearing while still enjoying life's loud moments, I became a frequent user of foam earplugs. But as a material expert and co-founder of PROWL, a company dedicated to regenerative design, I couldn't ignore a glaring issue: these earplugs were made of harmful, endocrine-disrupting chemicals like PVC and polyurethane. This realization sparked a mission, one that brought PROWL’s mission of Beginning with the End™️ to life as a product. Together with my incredible team, we set out to create a solution. After months of research and development, I'm proud to announce the birth of GOB™️ - the first completely plant-based, plastic-free foam earplugs. GOB™️ isn't just an earplug; it's a tiny revolution. Made from lab-grown mycelium, our plugs protect your hearing without harming your health or the environment. They're fully home compostable, literally feeding the earth after use. But here's the kicker: we're not just solving a personal problem. Did you know the world manufactures 40 billion earplugs annually? That's enough to wrap around the Earth nearly 100 times! By reimagining this everyday product, we're tackling a massive source of plastic pollution and potential health risks. Incubated out of PROWL and its ethos, this launch is more than a business venture; it's a manifestation of my commitment to building a regenerative future. It's proof that with innovation and determination, we can transform industries and make sustainability accessible to all. As I step into the role of CEO at GOB™️, PROWL continues to thrive and grow, with Baillie at the helm. PROWL remains committed to pioneering regenerative design and will continue its incredible work with world-class clients. Ping me anytime for anything PROWL related and I will get the right folks involved! Our B2B site is now live at https://www.gob.earth/ and we plan to launch our D2C pre-orders in the fall.. Spread the word, let us know what you think, and come along for the ride with us in this new venture! https://www.gob.earth/

I'm still processing the beautiful whirlwind that was Bloomberg Green Festival. I left Seattle feeling inspired and optimistic about the extraordinary technological developments emerging at this critical time in history (and the brilliant humans propelling them forward), but even more so, reminded of the unparalleled power of good storytelling surrounding climate, and the importance of interdisciplinary partnership in unlocking exponential impact. I had the pleasure of speaking on a panel with Chris Granger and Chris Roe, moderated by Meg Szabo, about the pivotal role of partnerships in decarbonizing arenas. Oak View Group and Amazon's pioneering leadership with the Climate Pledge Arena is a great indicator of the future of sustainable events, exemplifying a variety of (big and small) ways in which venues can influence audience awareness and engagement and shift industry paradigms. Also, I met Wyn Wiley (aka Pattie Gonia 💚), so that was a major highlight. 🌎🌱 #BBG #BBGGreenFestival #SoundFuture #GatheringforGood
