Still riding high after experiencing the best networking event ever in the fashion industry! The Successful Fashion Freelancer #SFDINNYC , organized by the one and only Heidi Weinberg Weinberg, also known as #SewHeidi 🪡🧵🧠💓⚡️🐆, was an absolute success. She is the brains, heart, and soul of this community of fashion freelancers, and she restored my hope in an industry that has taught us quite a few things the wrong way. Synergy > Competition is our motto. I finally got to meet in real life some of the special people I’ve been connecting with for a while. We were buzzing—it was electrifying! A room full of hardworking, inspiring pros! I can’t wait to see you all again and share our growth! ✨ The event took place after SOURCING at MAGIC. This past week I had the opportunity to travel to NYC and attend SOURCING at MAGIC, MAGIC, & COTERIE trade show as well as SFD in NYC. It was an experience to remember! Connecting with industry leaders, innovators, and peers was truly inspiring. The sessions on sustainable practices in the fashion industry, entrepreneurship as a women and sourcing techniques provided valuable insights that I’m eager to implement in my work. Thank you to Heidi Weinberg for creating a very special freelance networking evening where I was able to connect with some of the most talented individuals!
