There are several important revisions to our Cooperative Revolving Loan Program: ✅ Interest Rates: 0% for years 1-3, SOFR + 1% for years 4-5, and SOFR + 2% for years 6-10. ✅ Loan Amount: Increased maximum from $500,000 to $1,000,000. ✅ Loan Limit: Up to two open loans per cooperative service territory. With these changes, we aim to enhance our support and growth opportunities for projects within our cooperative areas! Please join us in welcoming Rob Ardis, PE to the Board of Trustees! Rob has been the President and CEO of Santee Electric Cooperative since 2015. With an additional 14 years at Pee Dee Electric Cooperative, he brings a wealth of experience to the board. Rob also serves on the ECSC, Central and CEEUS boards, and is an ex-officio member of the South Carolina Public Service Authority board. Rob graduated from Francis Marion University with degrees in physics, mathematics and an MBA. He also holds an electrical engineering degree from The University of Tennessee and is a registered professional engineer in South Carolina. In 2023, the total capital investment announced across electric cooperative-served territory reached $2.31 billion, more than 2x our initial metric. Here's the detailed breakdown: 🖥️ Data Centers: $1.8 B 🚚 Warehouse/Distribution/Logistics: $103.9 M 🏭 Advanced Manufacturing: $379 M 💼 Corporate Operations: $9.21 M 🌾 Agribusiness: $20.56 M Data centers made a significant impact with $1.8 billion in investments, including a $1 billion commitment from QTS Data Centers in York County, served by York Electric Cooperative, Inc. Advanced manufacturing and warehouse/distribution sectors also saw impressive growth, attracting $379 million and $103.9 million. These investments highlight the Palmetto State's appeal for diverse industries. South Carolina's electric cooperatives are dedicated to ensuring they have the reliable power needed to drive innovation and growth.
