High Point Academy played a vital role in supporting the community during Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. They opened their doors to emergency relief personnel, housing line workers and providing meals through the Southern Baptist Men’s Association. Students learned about the weather, and the staff collected supplies for those in need, including donations of water and meals. Teachers even created s’mores kits for colleagues without power to show their love and support. These efforts are ongoing as the school continues to assist those affected.
