#Veterans and #Servicemembers: With the celebration of our nation's Birthday #4ofJuly, Andy Quattlebaum and Blackwell Family Foundation wants to #honor your #service and is #proud to announce the upcoming Andy Quattlebaum Warrior Hunt 2025, #AQWH2025. This is an opportunity for #Veterans and #ServiceMembers who served in our #ArmedForces to participate in one of #Andy’s favorite activities: #DuckHunting! This combines his #passion for the #outdoors with #veterans. We aim to recognize those who served by having them participate in #training at #CampWoodie through our partnership with South Carolina Waterfowl Association followed by hunting ducks in the #historic Georgetown, SC area. The event will take place February 7-8, 2025 with final dates pending approval of the #NationalDuckRegistry. During the benefit dinner and auction on the evening of February 7th, #AQBFF will recognize a #Nonprofit that goes above and beyond #serving the #militaryfamilycommunity. At our last event we recognized SMOKY MOUNTAIN SERVICE DOGS. Mike Kitchens shared the #impact the funding provided: “Smoky Mountain Service Dogs was both Honored and Blessed to be selected as the recipient of funds from the Inaugural Andy Quattlebaum Warrior Hunt in 2023. The funds received provided a fully trained mobility assistance service dog for a wounded Veteran and provided dog food for all #SMSDogs in training for a full year. The entire #SMSD organization of approximately 200 volunteers were both motivated and humbled by the commitment of support by the Andy Quattlebaum and Blackwell Family Foundations.” Mark your calendars!
