Mahalo and mission accomplished! Congratulations to SouthCol’s James W. Lumberg on his completion of 50 High Points! Jim is now one of only 275 people to climb the highest point in all 50 states.   It is fitting that Jim’s 50th climb was in the 50th state: Hawaii’s Mauna Kea. Alone at the summit, Jim experienced the majesty of this dormant volcano, considered to be the most sacred place in Hawaii (note Jim’s respectful distance from the tribal altar). Fun fact: Measuring 33,500 feet from its base on the ocean floor to its summit, Mauna Kea is taller than Everest!   Jim – and SouthCol Advisors – are committed to achieving mission.
